Indubitably.

“I’m getting bored with the Rumbelle ship. There have been zero new developments on the show, and all the fan creators seem to have exhausted every possibility of every detail of what might happen. I’m kinda burnt out and worried that the show’s writers aren’t going to handle it as well as the fans are expecting. Here’s hoping.”

I feel the same way. I’m getting pretty tired of whinging about a chipped cup. Considering it took 80k, I’m still pretty pleased. xD

It’s hard to keep the same level of enthusiasm for a pairing when canon can’t keep up with your imagination. I burned out on Rumbelle about a week and a half ago, and while I’ll still read a fic for them here and there, I don’t go out of my way to. Like the poster said, just about every possible permutation of their happily (and miserably) ever after has been written now. Until canon gives us something else to work with, I don’t think there’s much more to say about them.
Which is why I’m taking a break with Mad Swan and Ruby/Belle and Ruby/Gold. At least until the finale, anyway, when I’m sure the circumstances behind Belle’s reappearance will smash my heart into itty bitty pieces and re-inspire me to write fluff and a salve.
